St. Jean de Luz (Donibane Lohitzun in Euskera) & Ciboure, Ravel's birthplace

To get there from St. Marie, follow the Urt route to the A64, carry on the A63 (costs you) & get off at the sign post to St. Jean de Luz. This is on one side of a bay with Ciboure on the other side. Good luck with parking in St. Jean. Ciboure is a better bet.

St. Jean de Luz Harbour from Ciboure

Ciboure is on the South side of the bay with St. Jean de Luz on the North side. It is the birthplace of Maurice Ravel, the great composer, claimed by the French but half-Swiss & half-Basque. The house is on the front.
