PARTY TIME

A New Year's Eve/Day party for locals is becoming an established event. We even sang (tragically badly) Auld Lang Syne.
Last year's main party seemed too big, so we had three smaller parties this year. Those not present this year will be invited next.

(However, in 2003, there will be a big party on Sunday 15th June. We have booked Elizabeth Jane Baldry, the family harpy, to play for us).

June party - Derek & Avis

June party - 'Olive', Dina & Tsugi

A pizza party for philosophical types in June was followed by a proper eat-in on August 12th. Derek Hill embarrassed Avis by toasting her (theoretically secret) birthday the next day, so a slightly tipsy Avis counter-embarrassed him by talking about our sex life. The last party was on October 28th (partly in honour of Fiona who's birthday, Sept 11th, was comprehensively wrecked), when most of the remaining gangsters came, including the Beecrofts making it for the first time but Kenner is not well & we wish him the best for his coming trip to hospital. Ken did all the party catering, as otherwise, Avis does not manage to talk to everyone.

Bruce Tattersall & Anna Meyer

Fiona Weir, the sexy face of militant atheism

Jon Temple (of Republic) & Diane Richards
