Vigo

Tuesday 14th May 2019

Vigo Central (actually when leaving)

Most of Vigo is a dump,so we opted for a trip up country to...

The Rihanes Palace and Gardens

This was some way to the North of Vigo, past the next ria, which was Pontevedra. The gardens had originally been laid out in the 15th Century (CHECK) trashed in the various wars & restored in the 18th Century. The house also had to be rebuilt on the site of one of the previous castle towers.
