Lisbon

Monday 13th May 2019

Lisbon from the ship by the new Cruise Terminal

Hot, hot, hot. 33°C was promised & at least, delivered. We took a bus (728) to Belem, expecting to go round the St.Jeronimas Museum but it was closed, as it was Monday. Fortunately, the buses are air-conditioned. We had enormous sundaes in a cafe near the Navigators’ Memorial. Ken left Avis while he took the necessary photos for his talks. Then, we took the bus back to the ship, which was berthed at the new Cruise Terminal, not ready at New Year, the last time we were here.
