Mühlhausen

We called in to Mühlhausen before arriving at Eisenach, because this town has connexions with one of Martin Luther’s more extremist supporters, Thomas Müntzer, who preached at the Marienkirche & encouraged the Great Peasant Revolt of 1625. From 1706-1708, the St.Blasius Church was also one of JS Bach’s early jobs.
