These notes are from Ken Baldry's diary entries, stuffed with extra guide book type information.
We have included them here in case anyone not au fait with travelling in Germany can use the information.

I (Ken) need to emphasise that Germany is a very easy place to travel just out of season.
There seem to be plenty of hotel rooms available & (outside Berlin) prices are very reasonable.

1. From Berlin to Munich via about everywhere

This was a cultural holiday we took in September 2000.

2. A Round Trip from Munich

This was a holiday we took in September 2001 which continues on from our East German tour of 2000 & also goes into Austria.

3. Black Forest Caper 2005

Part of a tour from Baden-Baden, through the Black Forest, into Switzerland briefly & on to Mulhouse to research Avis' ancestry
The French bit includes tours to Colmar & the French Jura before returning to the Black Forest for more trips there.

4. Saxony culture tour 2006

Zwickau - Chemnitz - Dresden & the surroundings.

5. Bach & Luther culture tour 2019

Eisenach, Quedlinburg & the surroundings.
