Cape Sounion, the most Southerly point of Attica

Friday 28th October 2016 am

Cape Sounion

Cooler & dull. We had a long (40 mile) drive along the coast to Cape Sounion, the most Southerly point of Attica, where there was a Temple to Poseidon & a howling wind. I did walk up to it & got a comprehensive set of photos but I’m glad Avis skipped it. Hot chocolates at €4.50 each & a drive back as far as Vougliameni for coffee & cake just behind where Ken's niece Zoi had her Wedding Feast. Then, back to Piraeus.
