Welcome to Islington U3A. We are a part of the world-wide University of the Third Age (U3A), open to all who are retired or semi-retired. Study and discussion groups are the core of any U3A.

Events

Most 'all member' events, such as Monthly Meetings on this link, take place in the
Resource Centre for London, 356 Holloway Road (next to Waitrose & aka 'Jones Bros').

You might like to note that the Steering Committee of Islington U3A (now the Executive Committee) have formally expelled the webmaster of this site (more details on this link), their loss but, as a goodwill gesture, he is leaving it up. Normal flexibility & negotiating skills seem to have passed them by but don't judge the groups by the committee! The groups are largely well-run by nice people, so when the Executive Committee tried to refund his subscription, he donated it back.

There may be new groups apart from those listed to the right but the webmaster cannot be bothered to keep it up-to-date after having been treated with such a lack of respect.
