Index for the Montecatini trip 25/6 to 5/7 2005

Montecatini Terme is roughly halfway between Pisa & Florence & thus, a very good base for exploring Tuscany. We had a hire car, hence the trips into the National Park areas to the North & Chiantishire to the South. However, even if you have a car, it is best to go to Florence by the cheap, efficient train service, as Florence is parking hell. We did not go to Florence on this trip but there is plenty of information about Florence elsewhere.
