| | All along the Mediterranean Cruise - Gibraltar |
We were a bit early in Gibraltar, so the ship hung out in the bay before breakfast. We walked off just before John's opening remarks & got to the cable car in about an hour but it was closed because of the high winds, understandably. It was also rather cold but we were in our coats.

We walked up into the gardens, which were very good but my camera battery ran out & the spare no longer seems to hold its charge. After the 2nd hot chocolates of the winter (£3), I sought a new battery & got one (£19.95). I photoed some of the more interesting buildings near Main Street & then, Avis being rather tired after our early start, we walked back to the ship after doing about 12,000 paces in town.

A party broke out on the quarter deck, as the orchestra had moved out.
