Torshavn, Faroe Isles

The Faroe Islands have two days of Sun per year, so getting any on a one-day visit would be extremely lucky. Torshavn has two harbours, separated by a peninsula on which sits the Old Town, with its characteristic wooden houses with turf roofs, which are actually growing organic features.
